Soccer is considered as the most-watched sporting events in Indonesia and AFC, being one of the most popular international soccer competition in Asia, it will surely attract immense viewership to MNCN’s televisions. The Company is expecting to draw exceptional ratings and audience share from the competitions, particularly when the Indonesian National Team is competing against its rivals.
The events mentioned above will also be available through the Company’s digital/OTT platform, RCTI+, which has performed extremely well since its introduction in late August 2019 with its MAU reaching 3 million as of today. RCTI+ will also feature and release original content on match previews, match information, highlights, post-match analysis, as well as commentary from renowned pundits. Moreover, the competition should drive traffic, as well as revenue for RCTI+ by conducting quizzes and interactive features, which will further increase the platform’s engagement.
